Shreyas Iyer, full name as Shreyas Santosh Iyer, was born on December 6, 1994, in Mumbai, is a famous dynamic right-handed batsman of Indian national cricket team. He is the first Indian cricketer who has scored a century and a half century in the test debut against New Zealand in November 2021. He has played in the Mumbai team in the domestic cricket and leads the Kolkata Knight Riders to won their first IPL title in 2024. In 2014, he played first in the international level cricket, ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup, for the India Under-19 team. In the wining of 2023 Asia Cup, he was played a crucial role. Early Life

Shreyas Santosh Iyer was born on December 6, 1994, in Chembur, Mumbai in a cricket supportive family. Santosh Iyer, his father, is Tamil, and Rohini Iyer, his mother, is Tulu. The origin of his family is from Thrissur, Kerala. He schooled from Don Bosco High School, Matunga. Then he went to Ramniranjan Anandilal Podar College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai, for graduation. He played various cricket matches at the college level and contributed a key role for the success of the team and won six trophies. When he was 8, coach Pravin Amre revealed his cricketing talent at the Shivaji Park Gymkhana and nurtured his skills. He was invented as an aggressive batsman and also often compared to Virender Sehwag.
